PROFILES:[ Natsuki Tamura ] Internationally recognized for his ability to blend aunique vocabulary of extended techniques with touching jazz lyricism, Tamura has been compared to players as diverse as Lester Bowie, Miles Davis, and Freddie Hubbard, with “chops that would make Louis Armstrong jealous.” Improvijazzation Nation. Natsuki Tamura [ Takaoka Daisuke ]Born 1973 in Osaka. Member of such diverse groups as,Black Bottom Brass Band, Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra and Oringinal Love.Takaoka employs a wide variety of original extended tuba techniques and has performed with many musicians including: Umezu Kazutoki, Uchihashi Kazuhisa,Toyozumi Saburo, and Joseph Jarman. takaoka [ Matsumoto Kenichi ] Born 1964 in Nagasaki. Member of Satoko Fujii Orchestra, Original Love, and Tokyo Low Frequency Band. Matsumoto has also lead his own groups since the 1980s. Recent work with Hano Shoji and the Roppongi Nature Club has seen him performing with Peter Brotzmann and Makoto Kawabata (AMT).Matsumoto Kenichi [ Seo Ryo (a.k.a Seonius) ] Born 1975 Kobe, Japan. Member of Satoko Fujii Orchestra, Original Love, and Tokyo Low Frequency Band. Seo is in serious pursuit of creative performance styles with the fun theme "sounds you can make with your mouth." His skills include hip-hop favorite "beat-boxing" and Seo's original "mouth-scratching." Seonius
