エンキドゥ Enkidu : 向井千惠 + 山本精一 + Eric Cordier
中国古来の楽器である胡弓、ギター、ヨーロッパの古楽器であるハーディ・ガーディ、
様々なるパーカッション等によって織り成される重厚なる即興サイケデリック音楽。
その瞑想的であると同時に、奔放な躍動感に満ちた不思議なサウンドはあらゆる国境・
時空を超えて、拡がって行く。2002年10-11月：ベルギー・フランスツアーを行う。
今春、フランス Turtles’ Dreamより、ベルギー HasseltのライブCDをリリース。近々
、アメリカのレーベルより、Live at Nantesのリリースのよてい有り。2005年は、再度
のヨーロッパ・ツアー、そしてアメリカ・ツアーも行うよてい。今回は、そのかわきり
としての日本国内ツアー。ほとんどの音楽が細分化され、閉塞されつつあるいま、で
きるだけ多くの人に、無垢なる自由の音楽を体験してもらいたいと願う。

エリック・コルディエ Eric CORDIER (hurdy-gurdy & electronics)
エレクトロアコースティック作曲家、即興演奏家。86-94年にかけてボディ・アート
パフォーマンスとエレクトロアコースティック3人組Nadirのメンバーとしてフランス、
ドイツ、オランダで活動する。ハーディガーディ奏者としては多くのインプロ、フリー
・ロック、インダストリアルバンドに参加する（UNACD、Schams、Synapses、
Pheromone、Tore、Enkidu、Truchement…）。彼の演奏は灰野敬二、ジム・オールー
クがハーディガーディを始めるきっかけともなった。これまでの共演相手はErikM、
Etienne Brunet、Tore Boe、秋山徹次など。また造形芸術への関心から独自の音環境
を作り上げる展覧会も行い、その一部は96年にリリースされた「Houlque」
（Discography参照）などで覗うことができる。近年は彫刻家Denis Tricotと木版を
組み立てた巨大な楽器を公共の場で演奏するインスタレーションで注目されている。
さらに、ノイズ・ボディアートプロジェクトのLa Compagnie Porduriereでは裸での
たうち回り、No Output Laptopsでは複数のLaptopの電源のみを使用したノイズの・
ロパフォーマンス。その他数多くのプロジェクトを企画、参加。

向井千惠 MUKAI Chie (胡弓 er-hu, voice, piano, percussion, dance, etc.)
大阪生。1975年神田美学校小杉武久音楽教場に学び、胡弓（二胡）を手にし、即興演
奏を始める。”East Bionic Symphonoia”、”STEREOS”等に参画。1981年より自身のユ
ニット”シェシズ”を始める。83年頃より、シェシズはオリジナル曲を中心に演奏す
るロックバンドとして活動。現在即興演奏グループ “打鈍”、”ENKIDU” Soloの演奏
の他、様々な音楽家、舞踏家、パフォーマー等と共演している。即興ひょうげんによる
MIXED MEDIA ART のフェスティバル “PERSPECTIVE EMOTION”（透視的情動）主宰。
WORKSHOP も定期的に開催。

山本精一 YAMAMOTO Seiichi (guitar, flute, voice & electronics)
あらゆる音楽フィールドにおいてジャンル・バスターのごとく活動する。
ミニコミ、ライナーノーツ、音楽誌、文芸誌への寄稿も多く、1999年には単行本「ギンガ」を出版。また、ジャケットデザイン、イラストなども手がける。

Eric CORDIER
Eric Cordier has studied fine arts, body-art & music. He began
body-art performances/tape music between 1986 and 1994 under the name of
Nadir, with Jean Luc Guionnet and Cecile Maupoux (21 performances in France,
Germany and Nederland).

His tapes music works are available on Ground Fault & Edition... (USA) la
Grande Fabrique (F) and Humbug (N).

He plays hurdy-gurdy in various improv, free-rock or industrial bands :
UNACD, Schams, Synapses, Pheromone, Tore, Enkidu, Truchement...
He is credited with introducing Keiji Hayno to the hurdy-gurdy (November
92), as well as Jim O'Rourke (October 95). He has played in the Duet with
Dominique Regef (hurdy-gurdy, Malicorne), DJ :ErikM and Jimmy T, Bagpipe
player Etienne Brunet and many others French musicians and the japanese and
norvegian ones : Seijiro Murayama, Tetuzi Akiyama, Tore Boe, Ian Morton
Iversen His interest in plastic arts and music is conjugated in sound
environments exhibitions. There has been around twenty exhibits in 10 years.

Appart hurdy-gurdy he screams in a noise-body-art project with Guido
Hubner/DSM under the name of La Compagnie Porduriere. He also plays
electromagnetic pick-ups in the performance project No Output Laptops.
He creates installations with sculptor Denis Tricot since 2003 and plays
board-organ with him.

He was a sound engineer on contemporary music concerts as M. Kagel and
theatre tour since 1989, on the Industrial-EBM band The Grief during tours
in 1990 and 1991: Nederland : Nijmegen, Utrecht, Hoorn, Amsterdam; France :
Paris, Montpelier, Saint-Malo, Portugal : Coimbra, Funchal (Madera).
Member of the team of programation of festival Tramway 95-96 : K. Brotzmann/Massaker, Alboth, Painting, Denis Colin trio, Berthet/Le Junter,
Deux fois rien (Spirli), Hint, Prohibition, Kinobits (Noetinger/Tanaka/Zetel/Le Quan), Thierry Robin. Radio producer at the
national French radio France Culture : Tentative premiere/Clair de nuit,
Nuits MagnEtiques 1991, "La Lisiere de Foret" & various Atelier de Creation
Radiophonique.
In 2002 Eric has earned a PhD in Ethnology/Religious Science in analysing the popular culture of the peasants of the Normandy during the
XIXth century. Some articles are available in French on werewolf, fairies,
elves, goblins, imps, bee honey, and the opposition between wild and
domestic animals. He actually try to do recordings of popular music : Lu
Sheng dance and songs in a Thai minority of China, the Dong, where his
girlfriend is doing ethnology.

YAMAMOTO Seiichi
Born in Amagasaki, Hyogo prefecture, 1958.
Since the late '80s, Seiichi Yamamoto has been active as an amazingly versatile musician, mainly in the Osaka area. Leading and participating in numerous bands and projects, he has demonstrated the great diversity of his musical styles--from rock, folk, and punk to improvisation and noise. Among many others, he formed the avant-rock band Omoide Hatoba in 1987; Rashinban, featuring his vocals, around 1988; the punk band Akabushi in 1993; and the noise duo Ontoko with K.K. Null in 1999. The various bands of which Yamamoto is a member include Boredoms,
Novo Tono, Rovo, and Most.

In addition to his activity as a musician, Yamamoto has owned the rock club Bears in Osaka since 1987, and the label Ummo Records since 1997. Ummo Records' releases mainly feature Osaka-area musicians. Yamamoto is without doubt one of the central figures of the Osaka-area underground music scene.
