フィリップ・サマーティスはオーストラリアRMIT大学でメディア・アートと音響を教えるかたわら、各地の環境音をサンプリングし、DVDのドルビーサラウンドにまとめたり，フィールドレコーディングした音源などを加工して繊細なコラージュ作品を制作している。

稲田光造はコンセプトのみに終わる、いわゆる実験的作品とは対極にある、音響心理学に基ついて人間の持つ生理に直接訴えかける音作りを行っている。聞き手に「美と醜悪さ」「生理的恐怖と心の平安」等々を同時に体験できる希有な音楽を制作している。Staalplaat、Selektion、Digital Narcisなどでリリース多数。
古舘徹夫

古舘徹夫は80年代に映像作家、ミュージシャン、作曲家として活動開始。最近はノイズオペラ「Othello」をスウェーデン、イタリア、ドイツなどで上演。03年「The Auditory Sense of Mr Roderick Usher」でドレスデン=ブルー・ブリッジ・フェスティバルで大賞受賞。

Philip Samartzis is currently coordinator and lecturer in Sound within the School of Art, RMIT University, where he is engaged in research into surround sound and immersive environments for installation art. As an independent curator he has organized three Immersion festivals focusing on the theory and practise of sound spatialisation.

In 2001 Tetsuo Furudate produced his first experimental noise-opera "Othello" at Podewil. The painter, experimental-film producer and musician is artist-in-residence at Podewil of the year 2003. As a specialist for Mahler, Wagner and Shakespeare, he transforms his comprehension for dramaturgy in electronic noise music in a furious and provocative way.

KK.NULL, composer, guitarist, singer, electronicist and drummer, studied at Min Tanaka's "Mai-Juku" Butoh workshop and started his music career as a guitar improviser. His "progressive hardcore trio", ZENI GEVA, has worked with Steve Albini, and produced more than 10 albums, KK Null has played more than 300 live shows solo and with collaborators: Merzbow, John Zorn, Fred Frith, Jim O'rourke, Keiji Haino, Seiichi Yamamoto, Otomo Yoshihide, Jon Rose and more.

Christophe Charles works with found (recorded) sounds, and makes compositions using computer programs, inspired by the chance music of John Cage, insisting on the autonomy of each sound and the absence of hierarchical structure. Currently Associate Professor at Musashino Art University, Tokyo. He has released his "undirected" series on Mille Plateaux, Ritornell, SubRosa, Code, Cirque, Cross, X-tract, CCI, ICC, etc.) Permanent sound installations at Osaka Sumai Jouhou center (Tenroku Crossing, 1999), Narita International Airport Central Atrium (2000).
