エピゾ・バングーラとその兄弟は彼等の民族の伝統、文化を音楽や踊りとして伝承している血筋の生まれ。
特にアイリッシュハープの原型である西アフリカの竪琴コラの奏者であることは彼を知るうえで極めて重要な要素だが、
そういった伝統一色の枠の中には、彼はいない。その演奏はジャジーで都会的なアレンジに富んでいる。
