テンプル大学ジャパンキャンパス 現代日本研究所が主催する「日本を感じる」が六本木スーパーデラックスで開催!唯一外国人で利き酒名人のコンテストで優勝したジョン・ゴントナー氏を向かえ、酒トーク(英語)を行います。
レクチャー後には彼が厳選した7種の日本酒を試飲することができます。
そのほか三味線奏者 白田路明、パシフィックカルチャークラブ、書道アーティストのかこうどたちによる美しい日本の伝統を披露。
21代目日本さくら女王によるオープニング。その他テンプル大学の生徒による様々なパフォーマンスが繰り広げられます。是非お越し下さい!

“Sake Guy” John Gauntner

“The Sake Guy” John Gauntner is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading authorities on Japanese sake, and has been instrumental in introducing sake to the English-speaking world. He is also the only non-Japanese member of the Ginjoshu Kenkyu Kikou (Ginjo Sake Research Group), and is the only non-Japanese to have participated as an official taster in a prefectural government tasting. Gauntner is the author of several books on Japanese sake, and writes a column in The Japan Times newspaper, and Metropolis magazine.
三味線:Michiaki Shirata

Michiaki is a Hokkaido based pro-fessional Shamisen player who been playing this traditional Japanese in-strument since he was nine years old. After ranking second in the Nation-wide Tsugaru Shamisen competition, he be-came professional, and has performed with legendary Japanese artists re-presenting ancient traditions of the Japanese Arts.
Tomoko Miki

Since 1966, Japan’s Cherry Blossom Queens have served as a symbol of the National Flower of Japan. In the course of her two year reign, Tomoko Miki has encouraged activities that foster the planting and nurturing of cherry trees; participated in symbolic tree plantings, and has represented the JCBA and Japan as a good will ambassador in festivals and celebrations throughout the World.
Kakoudo (Shinsuke & Sei)

Kakoudo are collaborative calligraphy artists whointegrate modernist style with traditional Japanese aesthetics.
