ロンの講演に引き続き、数ある儀式的マジック (magick) の中でももっともパワフルなものとして語り継がれてきた、エノクのマジック (Enochian Magick) と呼ばれる伝統的な儀式をその場で実演します。天使たちの霊との交信を可能とするこの古代の儀式は、エリザベスI世の相談役であり宮廷の占星術師だったジョン・ディー博士 (1527-1608)によってはじめて発見されました。以来、人々を魅了し続け、また論争の的にもなってきたものです。ロン自身によるエノクの儀式の公開は、それ自体きわめて珍しいうえに、観客の皆様にも参加していただけるという、またとない機会で、絶対に見逃せません！

それだけではありません。ロンによるエノクの儀式の後には、彼独特の解釈によるプログレッシブ・フォーク・ロック（形而上的な影響を受けたものであることは言うまでもありません）の演奏が行われます。ロンは長いキャリアを誇るソングライター、音楽家であり、1970年代初頭にはパートナーのチャールズ・D・ハリスとともに、自作曲による2枚のシングルと1枚のアルバムを録音し、エピック (CBS)レコードから発売されました。「チャーリー・D・アンド・マイロ」と題されたそのアルバムは批評家から高い評価を受け、ビルボード誌の「注目アルバム」に選ばれました。彼が共演あるいは同じステージに立ったミュージシャンとしては、ホイト・アクストン、パット・ポールソン、アルロ・ガスリー、グレン・キャンベル、サミー・デイヴィス・Jr、ルー・リード、ジョニー・リヴァースなど、70年代前半の輝かしいロックスターたちが挙げられます。特にジョニー・リヴァースは、1972年にハリスとドゥケットの作曲による「ムーヴィン・トゥー・ザ・カントリー」を録音し、彼のアルバム「ホームグロウン」に収録しました。

ロンは数年前からふたたびギターを手に取り、自らのウィットと英知を使って歌づくりを再開しました。でき上がった作品には、形而上的な崇高さが感じられる「アイ・アム・ヒー」から、爆笑を誘うほどコミカルな「アイ・ラブ・トゥー・ゲット・ドランク・イン・ザ・カー」、さらに魔術的に物議をかもしそうな「スウィート・ババロン」などがあります。

Lon will give a lecture followed by a remarkable live demonstration of Enochian Magick - a tradition considered by many to be the most powerful system of ceremonial magick ever created. These ancient rituals for communicating with angelic spirits was first discovered by Dr. John Dee (1527-1608), the court astrologer and personal adviser to Queen Elizabeth I and have been the subject of fascination and controversy ever since. Lon’s public Enochian working — something quite rare to begin with - will also include live audience participation, making it an event not to be missed!

And there’s more: Following his Enochian working, Lon will treat the audience to his own unique form of Progressive Folk Rock (with a
metaphysical influence, of course). Lon is a long-time songwriter and musician who, along with his partner Charles D. Harris, in the early 1970s recorded and released two singles and an album of original songs for Epic (CBS) Records. The album (Charley D. & Milo) received critical acclaim and earned Billboard Magazine's Spotlight Pick. He worked and appeared with many of the folk-rock luminaries of the early 70s including Hoyt Axton, Pat Paulson, Arlo Guthrie, Glenn Campbell, Sammy Davis Jr., Lou Reed, and Johnny Rivers. In 1972 Rivers recorded the Harris/DuQuette song, "Movin' to the Country" for his "Homegrown" album.

Over the last several years Lon has picked up his guitar once again and turned his wit and wisdom to writing songs – songs as metaphysically sublime as "I Am He" and as outrageously funny, "I Love to Get Drunk in the Car" to the magically controversial “Sweet Babalon.”
