What's Japan? -日本ってなんだっけ?-

サブカルチャー化した現代の日本。その日本に伝統的な魅力を再提示していこうという思いから企画したイベントです。六本木ヒルズの真横にひっそりと茶室をたててそのまわりを枯山水で囲い、その空間で華道・茶道の実演、和服のファッションショーを行います。伝統的な日本文化にどっぷりとつかる一日になると思います。サブカルチャーばかりが注目されクールジャパンと呼称されている現在の日本で、本当のクールの面とはどこにあるのかを探りに来ませんか？

アーティスト情報:
YASUHIKO ITO
和紙のちぎり絵で人物画を表現。デザインフェスタ・GEISAI等に出展多数しており、全国和紙画展入選。

SHUJI
純白の彫刻を作成。2008年にはタグボート・アワードにて優秀賞を受賞。

TIGU
渋谷・池袋を中心に月に５～８本のイベントに出演。パーティー「URA－WAZA」主催。

We will hold multi-cultural entertainment－the performances of tea ceremony (Sa-do), flower arrabgement (Ka-do)and the show of Japanese clothes. This event will take place at the thrifty tea house, surrounded by a dry landscape garden(called Kare-San-Sui) on the side of Roppongi Hills. We hope you will indulge in traditional Japanese culture to the full. Thank you.
