a mixture of cultural influences turned into a soulful mix of sound....

Lo-Fi is a unique trio from Tokyo Japan that puts together a wide range of music styles together into a collage of funky vibes and rhyme. Bass/Vocalist and song writer 5(Goh) has spent most of his life constantly moving from on e place to another. This experience has helped in shaping the music created by the band. Although their foundation lies in soulful grooves, both live and recorded they change grooves freely, not restricted by any one genre on their sonic journey.

Julee Karan (Singer)

After starting her own band in Osaka, she moved on to become the national CD debut audition champion and released a mini-album "Calling You". After that release she did a major release from EMI called "Lover's Jazz" and was in the top ten download charts internationally (Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Japan... etc.). Now she is also attracting new attention in Asia too. For this special occasion she'll be singing and collaborating with the members of Lo-Fi!

Choke SP (Human Beat Boxer)

After becoming the National Beat Boxer Champion in 2004, Choke moves on to host his own Beat Boxer battles and has currently released his long awaited second album! In 2009 in collaboration with AFRA, KEI, DJ YASA and other artists, he released the second album that has made it to 2nd place in the Tower Records weekly charts. Choke and Lo-Fi originally met when Lo-Fi was invited to attend Choke's Hip-Hop event "Higher Ground" in Osaka. At the release party he'll be jamming with us throughout the night!

Bruce Osborn

Full Bio
Bruce was born in Southern California and raised on its surf and skateboard culture. After graduating from the University of the Pacific with a BA in Fine Art, he studied Photography at Art Center College of Design. He began working for Phonograph Record Magazine as their photographer and photo editor and also did free lance photography for other music related businesses. In 1980 Bruce moved to Japan where he is a well known commercial photographer and filmmaker.

Painters:

Ayumi

Born in Osaka, Japan. After experiencing working globally for apparel design, she eventually finds her way to painting. Her expression of unity with the Earth and it's energy are poured out onto the canvas both live and in the studio. Ayumi has constantly worked with many DJs and live musicians to develop her live painting performance.

Yaberay

Sound engineer:

Well known for organizing the SPACE ECHO DELUXE. Has been most well know for doing many "Surround Sound" design (multi speaker) events and PA as well as performing live himself. A veteran in sound design and field recording he has been part of a large amount of professional and even experimental recordings. One of his "multi-screen multi-speaker" collaboration projects last year were on display in Paris (Louvre Museum) and New York. AO is currently performing as much as he is also working as an engineer in commercial recording and live PA.
