Edoheart (Eseohe Arhebamen) is a free-improvisation vocalist /singer / poet / dancer / African princess of the Edo people (Nigeria).Born in Nigeria, raised in Detroit city and currently living in New York, Edoheart’s music reflects a diversity of cultures, a dedication to collaborative improvisation, eclectic style, feminism and a love ofdance. Edoheart was raised in a family that sang religious songs together. During her teenage years, she gave poetry-slam performances in Detroit that evolved into free-improvisation vocalization soundtracks which used traditional religious African songs for creative support and eventually became the basis for her butoh-vocal theatre performances. Her music now is described as "Afro-poetry over dubbed-out rhythms." Edoheart's sound is sometimes African-folk in the style of Miriam Makeba but Edoheart also has a noisy, unpredictable side, as in her song "Harmony" which features a wild,
free-improvisation vocalization over drum-machine reverb. Edoheart's performances involve music, dance, visuals and performance art and have been called "powerful ritual". Edoheart has performed internationally in Africa, North and South America, Europe and Asia, most recently in Brazil where she performed at the Museu Brasileiro da
Escultura and also shot the video for her song "Sosomoneycockplease". Her new album Wa Domo Edo is available on itunes.

BUN666&THE ANGELS

BUN666&THE ANGELS was formed by minimal jazz guitarist Fumihiro "Bun666" Nishibori to record his last solo album. Band members include Keiko Okumura (Conga, Percussion/ex. Papa Wemba Viva La Musica), Roberto Salgado Santana (Conga, Percussion), Koichi Sei (Bass), Takashi Kinukawa (drums), nilksnow (vocals), Junji Kano (Guitar) and Fumihiro Nishibori (Guitar).

Keiko Okunuma spent the '80s in New York studying Latin music, then moved to Paris from 89 to 2001 where she performed with the famed Papa Wemba.
