町田良夫（スティールパン）

音楽家、スティールパン奏者/美術家、アモルフォン主宰。ポストDUB「ミーモ」メンバー。各国メディア・アート/ 音楽祭に出演。David Toop 著書「Haunted Weather」で紹介され、ソロ作「Naada」は細野晴臣から「スチールパンの新しい旅」と賞賛される。仏TVCM曲提供、Van Cleef & Arpels展覧会音楽も手がける。

山本達久（ドラム&パーカッション）

1982年10月25日生。 drums&perc。2007年まで、地元山口県を拠点に基本となる音楽観、人生観などの礎を築く。現在では、数々の即興演奏を軸に、Jim O'rourke、石橋英子との様々な活動、千住宗臣とのDuo、teneleven、プラマイゼロ、First Meeting、カヒミ・カリィ、NATSUMENなどのBAND活動と並行し、タテタカコ、長谷川健一、el-malo、phew、見汐麻衣(埋火)などのSSWのサポートも行うなど、様々な現場、プロジェクトに参加し、都内を中心に活動。

Yukitomo Hamasaki

アーティスト。2008年mAtter設立。静謐な音響テクスチャーを使用し、影の現象にフォーカスした自身の初ソロ作品[d+p]の発表と共にmAtter レーベルを開始。国内外のアーティスト作品をリリースするなどの精力的な活動を展開、また国内外でのパフォーマンスを行いながら、リミックスや映像作品への楽曲の提供やコラボレーション等など多岐に渡る。音楽作品以外にもインスタレーション制作発表、今後はドローイング制作なども予定されている。

shotahirama

アートレーベルmAtterのパブリケーションに携わり、自らもshotahiramaの名義にて執筆やオペラ脚本（古舘徹夫氏作品）の英訳、サウンドクリエーション等、文学から音楽へと「スリップストリーム」な作品／活動を多く展開するニューヨーク出身の作家、平間翔太。2010年にはセルフレーベルとなるSIGNALDADAを設立、ダダイズムの既成の秩序や常識に対する否定、攻撃、破壊といった思想や、一部のポストモダン文学に見られる病的な反リアル、認知不協和（アムニジア、テンポラルディストーション）さらにはSF特有のテーマやモチーフに言語、シンボルやイメージの使用法等それらリット的ファクターに強くリンクしたデバイス作品を発表する。

okamotonoriaki

１９８３年生まれ。大阪府出身。
多摩美術大学卒業後、フリーの映像音響作家として活動。２０１０年「mu-nest」よりファーストアルバム「telescope」をリリース。個人での映像作品、音楽作品の制作の他に、Tilmann Steffen Wendelstein、横田将士との映像制作グループ「GOKKO」、ポップユニット「IIKO」としても活動中。

Jun Kawabata

作曲家・写真家。1997年ジャズ、ブルース、ノイズ、実験音楽にスポットをあてた音楽レーベル『AIRPLANE LABEL』を創設。アルバム『Absolute Elsewhere』等を発表。近年は『OLD SALMON　海を見つめて　過ぎた時間』（2006）『馬頭琴夜想曲』（2007）『夢のまにまに』(2008)『黄金花-秘すれば花、死すれば蝶-』(2009)『ONE SHOT ONE KILL』(2009)『名前のない女たち』(2010)等の映画で音楽を担当している。

Hideki Ataka

幼少期より録音に興味を持ったことに始まり、現在数多くのアーティストの作品にレコーディングエンジニアとして参加（dip,ICE,PEALOUT,小島麻由美&etc..)。エンジニア（近藤智洋,荒巻茂夫,HY&etc..)、プロデューサー（清家千晶,GhostyBlow,&etc..)、アレンジャー＆プログラマー（一十三十一,CM音楽&etc..)、としての活動の傍ら、ニンゲンマン名義のソロ活動とOri'sの活動を並行して行う。

Chihei Hatakeyama

1978年生まれ。神奈川県出身。Chihei Hatakeyamaとしてソロ活動を行う。電子音楽ユニットOpitope、佐立努とのLuis Nanookとしても活動。2006年にKrankyよりファーストアルバムをリリースし、以後各国のレーベルから積極的に作品の発表を続けている。2009年には映画『TOCHKA』の現場音を素材に架空のサントラを制作Boid(JP)よりリリースされた。

Artist information:

Yukitomo Hamasaki

is sound artist and he has founder of Japanese sound/art publishing organization "mAtter" besed in Tokyo.his music career at the age of 18, taking his cues from DJing. His interested are light, a cloud, complex pattern and the collision that has happened by micro space. And his theme is to compose them as a musical composition. Moreover,
his another work : the installation work and the graphic design.

about mAtter : mAtter is a sound & design label, with works centering around Yukitomo Hamasaki. The label take an approach to various types of media, such as sound design, architecture, and product design. It interprets/restructures these concepts in a lot of different ways, based on mAtter's own perspective, with the goal of constructing
dense space. The members of the project aren't specified, and they switch depending on the various projects. The members mainly consist of musicians, architects, video artists, and writers.

shotahirama

is a Sound Artist/novelist from New York, US and currently live in Tokyo, Japan. Inspired by Modern Art, Dada, Bauhaus and Postmodern literature. Also known for the founding of the SIGNAL DADA, Edition NIkO (NIkO Label), ENG (electronoise group) and JANDEATH. His musical focus is characterized by digital synth and field recording with computer software processing and improvisation, which generates a large palette of possible sounds including; grainy textures, complex patterns of smooth drones, and microscopic clicks and cuts.

Shota, as a solo artist or in other project, has released music on the following record labels: Improvised Music From Japan (Japan. BOOK/CD compilation, 2009), Re-Records (Hongkong. CDR album, 2010), mAtter (Japan. BOOK/CDR, BOOK/DVD, coming 2010), Symbolic Interaction (Japan. CD compilation, coming 2010), and more.

This live collabolation features a duet between Yukitomo Hamasaki "sound artist,founder of Japanese sound/art publishing organization mAtter" and shotahirama "Tokyo based Japanese-American sound artist organizing SIGNALDADA" - a continuing collaboration between two highly regarded composers. Their first, 'Abstrakt/Konkret', was a 40 minute live performance in SuperDelux, Tokyo in 28th June 2010 "presented by Soundroom #45"

And now they have this new live collab 'Abstrakt/Konkret 2.0'... 2.0 used 30 files which were field recorded between April and May (2010) in east side of Tokyo City by Shota and Yukitomo. They came together for the mix in Yukitomo's mAtter studio in June of that year. They re-synth and concretize these files and the cyclical process continued right up until the final mix.

Yukitomo Hamasaki and shotahirama blend the unstructured and imaginative qualities of improvisation with the satisfying sculpture of composition. Yukitomo's sinewaves, his style reminiscent of Modern Art and Modern films, perfectly complements Shota with his powerful blend of shimmering synth and passionate electronics.

Together they have combined to create new 30 minute of Abstrakt and Konkret poems.

Chihei Hatakeyama

Chihei Hatakeyama is a sound artist and musician living on the outskirts of Tokyo. He has performed for years under his given name and also as one half of the electroacoustic duo Opitope, along with Tomoyoshi Date. Hatakeyama polychromes memory-evoking soundscapes with various recorded materials of electric, acoustic instruments such as electric guitars, vibraphone, and piano. his releases is on Kranky, Room 40, Under the Spire, Hibernate Records, Magic Book Records, Home Nomal, OwnRecords and Spekk (as Opitope).
