度が過ぎた実験音楽とポップミュージックの間を行ったり来たりする、それはそれはセクシーなアートポップデュオ、Controllar、アムステルダムを拠点に活動するDuo Xは最小サイズの東洋x西洋のアンサンブル。2003年より活動をはじめ、クラリネット、サクソフォーン、笙、エレクトロニクス、ビデオ、身体表現を使った作品を発表し続ける気鋭の女性Duo。国内からはFILFLA、minamo、fonicaなど数々のユニットで日本は勿論、海外でも活躍する杉本佳一によるソロ・プロジェクト、FourColorが登場。エレクトロニクスとアコースティック、ストイックでポップなアーティスト達の競演をお楽しみに！

過度に行過ぎた実験音楽とポップミュージックの間を行ったり来たりする、それはそれはセクシーなアートポップデュオ、Controllar。２人は人生と音楽に歪んだ美しさを繁殖させる使命に駆られ、悪意に満ちたポップソングを世の中に生み落としている。ガラスのスリッパを履いたデヴィッドボウイがポーティスヘッドのチャイムが１２回鳴り響く中で、酔いつぶれたニーナサイモンにキスをしている様子を想像してみて！それはそれはセクシー。2009年にシングル「Controllar 1」、2010年上旬にファーストアルバム「Live in Levontin」をリリース、そして今年の秋に待望のスタジオアルバム発売を予定。

アムステルダムを拠点に活動するDuo Xは最小サイズの東洋x西洋のアンサンブル。2003年より活動をはじめ、クラリネット、サクソフォーン、笙、エレクトロニクス、ビデオ、身体表現を使った作品をオランダ、ドイツ、イタリア、チェコ、アメリカなどで発表してきた。

杉本佳一（サウンドアーティスト/コンポーザー）
FilFla、FourColor、Minamo、Fonicaなどのサウンドプロジェクトで活動。 杉本の作品はニューヨークの「12k」、「apestaartje」、ドイツ「TOM LAB」、日本の「HEADZ」など国内外の音楽レーベルからリリースされ、FourColorとしての作品「watter mirror」が英『THE WIRE』誌ベスト・エレクトロニカ・アルバムに選出されるなど、海外での評価も非常に高く、これまでにヨーロッパ各国をはじめアジア、オーストラリア、北米・カナダでライブパフォーマンスを行うなどグローバルな活動を続けている。
また、これまでに数多くの映画／映像、演劇、エキシビジョンへの楽曲提供・制作、CM／web／企業VPのような広告音楽を手掛ける中、2004年カンヌ映画祭では宮崎淳監督による「FRONTIER」が監督週間おいて「若い視点賞」、2006年フランス・エクスアンプロヴァンス映画祭ではドイツ人監督Timo Katzによる「Whirr」が「オリジナル映画音楽部門賞」を受賞するなど実績も残している。これらの受賞をきっかけに2007年フランス映画音楽作曲家協会(U.C.M.F)会員として登録される。

Controllar is Art Pop- gone experimental, then gone pop again. And it is oh so sexy. Their need to breed distorted beauty in life & music leads the couple to conjure up venomous pop songs – Imagine David Bowie in a glass slipper kissing a drunk Nina Simone to the twelve chimes of Portishead. And it is OH so sexy. Controllar released the EP Controllar 1 in 2009, followed by their first album Live in Levontin in early 2010. Their upcoming studio album is due fall 2011.

Duo X
Duo X is a Duo of Laura Carmichael (Clarinets) and Naomi Sato (Saxophones and Sho) established in Amsterdam in 2003. They have worked with young artists and given concerts with their new works in the Netherlands, Germany, Czech, America and Japan.

FourColor
Keiichi Sugimoto is an international artist and composer from Japan. He plays in several sound projects such as FilFla, FourColor, Minamo and Fonica. His compositions have been released from record labels throughout the world such as 12K (US), apestaartje (US), TOM LAB (Germany), and HEADZ (Japan). As FourColor, his album "Water Mirror" was chosen among the best electronica albums in the THE WIRE magazine (UK). He has also toured extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
He has provided numerous tracks to films, visuals, plays, exhibitions, television, web commercials, and company videos. In 2004, FourColor provided the music for director Jun Miyazaki's "FRONTIER", appearing at the Cannes film festival. In addition, the film won the "Young Viewpoint" award during the director's week. In 2006 at the France Aix-en-Provence film festival, Keiichi Sugimoto won the original soundtrack prize, for his soundtrack of "Whirr", a film by German director Timo Katz. By 2007, these achievements had lead Sugimoto to be registered to the French film composers association (U.C.M.F).
