After the 3.11, a lot of people “gave up” in Tohoku.  A lot of musicians had to give up their music because they lost their instruments or even a member of their band. But as we know music makes people smile, their mind off and happy so there is still a music scene in Tohoku. Monaco90000 is one of those bands. Their music makes people smile and happy, and they are just happy to be there playing their music.

##The Watanabes

The Watanabes are a Tokyo alternative pop rock band with members from the UK, New Zealand, Sweden and Japan. In December 2009 they began working with Glaswegian music producer David Naughton (Belle and Sebastian, Teenage Fan Club), and have since released their second
album You’re Dancing I’m Absorbed. The Watanabes enjoy flower arranging and banana milkshakes.

A rockin' evening with live music, Latin dance, and the chance to win return flights to Honolulu courtesy of Delta Airlines, and a 4 night stay at the Hilton Hotel in Hawaii.
