Loft is the electronic improvisational duo of Travis Thatcher (Chicago) and Nathaniel Murphy (Oakland / Los Angeles). The two utilize a combination of custom built modular electronic systems to explore textural composition. Loft’s sound is both contemplative and energetic, creating an immersive environment of sound unlike any other. Loft was recently featured on the Sweating Tapes release: A Compilation -Volume 2- The Bay Area, and will be releasing a full-length in 2013 on the [Seehrs](http://seehrs.com/) imprint. This performance will feature collaborations with several Tokyo based musicians.
