ファティマ・ミランダは4オクターブに渡る音域の声を操り東洋・西洋の伝統的なテクニック、また自身が作り上げた様々な技法を披露してくれます。その様子は実に緩急豊かで、天使のようなデリケートな細かい結晶のような声から、野生の轟音声まで、幅広い声質で魅力的な変調や吐息を届けてくれます。そのパフォーマンスは歌、詩、演劇、作曲、即興や演奏の間の境界線を曖昧にします。ファティマ・ミランダのソロコンサートではその圧倒的な声域から劇的で詩的なジェスチャー、ユーモラスかつ洗練され調和のとれた世界観が生み出され、魂の奥に伝わる感動を体験できることでしょう。

ファティマ・ミランダ (Fatima Miranda)
略歴：スペインのパフォーミング・アーティスト、作曲家、歌手。世界各地の現代音楽、北インド古典音楽、アゼルバイジャンの伝統歌、モンゴルの声楽、ベルカントなど、各ジャンルを研究した上、伝統音楽と前衛音楽を結びつく作品を制作。音楽のみならず、演劇、映像、音響詩とパフォーマンスアートも含めて各方面で多くの作品を発表。1978年マドリッドコンプルテンセ大学大学院修了(現代美術史)、その後、建築と都市計画に関する2冊の本を出版。 1982年～1989年マドリッドコンプルテンセ大学の音楽ライブラリのディレクター。80年代に、作曲家Llorenç Barber氏と共に音響詩の即興グループ「Taller de Música Mundana」と「FlatusVocisTrio」を結成。日本のソプラノ歌手奈良ゆみと現代音楽、Dagarファミリーと北インド古典音楽「ドゥルパド」、FarganaとAlim Quasimo夫妻とアゼルバイジャンの伝統歌「Mugham」、トラン·クアン·ハイ氏とモンゴルの声楽、そしてベルカント、各ジャンルを研究した上、伝統音楽と前衛音楽を結びつく作品を制作している。1991年から、現代音楽、実験音楽、声楽のみならず、演劇、映像、音響詩とパフォーマンスアートも含めて多くの国際フェスティバルにソリストとして出演。 1996年DAAD奨励金を経てベルリンのアーティスト·イン·レジデンス。 2009年IVプレミオ国際デメトリオ·ストラトス賞。 2012年第七回国際セビリア・エンカウンターズ「アートとジェンダー」にて女性作家ビデオアート最優秀賞。CDリリース：1991年「LAS VOCES DE LA VOZ」、1995年「Concierto en Canto」、2000年「ArteSonado」、DVDリリース：2005年「Canto Robados」、2011年「perVERSIONES」

Fátima Miranda's voice spans over four octaves. She combines various techniques from the East, the West, and of her own invention. She offers unusual vocal acrobatics, fascinating modulations of diaphonic sounds and breath: from the most crystalline and angelic, to the wildest roaring voice. She blurs the boundaries between song, poetry, theater, composition, improvisation and interpretation. In her concerts, performances for solo voice, she is in harmony with a dramatic and poetic, sometimes humorous gesture of the highest refinement. She creates a variety of moods and emotions able to touch the depths of the soul.

Fátima Miranda
Biography: 1978, Master of Art History (Contemporary art) from Complutense University of Madrid. Published two books on architecture and urbanism. 1982-89, Director of the Music Library at Complutense University of Madrid. Founded improvisational group "Taller de Música Mundana" in the eighties with composer Llorenç Barber and the "Flatus Vocis Trío” dedicated to phonetic poetry. She pursued studies with Japanese singer Yumi Nara, Mongol singing with Tran Quang Haï, Indian Dhrupad with the Dagar family, Mugham traditional singing with Fargana and Alim Quasimov in Azerbaijan, and bel canto, bringing all these diverse techniques into a rich, unprejudiced partnership with the avant-garde. From 1991, she has performed as a soloist in numerous international festivals. Her diverse repertoire spans contemporary, vocal and experimental music as well as theatre, video art, sound poetry and performance art. 1996, DAAD grant, artist in residence in Berlin. 2009, IV Premio Internazionale Demetrio Stratos Award. 2012, Women Artists Video Art First Prize (VII International Art and Gender Seville Encounters). CD releases: Las Voces de la Voz (1991), Concierto en Canto (1995), ArteSonado (2000). DVD releases: Cantos Robados (2005), perVERSIONES (2011).
