On Friday, October 3, a one-night performance of English playwright Alan Bennett’s A Chip in the Sugar will be staged to benefit TELL, a mental health services organization with an over-40 year history in Japan that offers an English-language Lifeline service and multi-lingual clinical counseling services. Ian de Stains, trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, will play Graham in the short comic monologue written by Bennett as part of his Talking Heads series for the BBC.
