Cupis（from ベルリン）
Cupis is a duo formed 2010 by Italian improvisor Gianni Gebbia and electronic musician Giovanni Verga. The duo focuses on organic/repetitive musical images and the electroacoustic possibilities of instruments – creating mirages of sound. Cupis has created music for theater and soundtracks in addition to presenting many live performances in Berlin.
Gianni Gebbia born in 1961 in Palermo, Italy is considered as one of the most interesting solo saxophone improvisors and also a specialist of circular breathing technique. He has collaborating and recording with: Fred Frith, Heiner Goebbels, Gino Robair, Lukas ligeti, Elliott Sharp, Carl Stone, Lee ranaldo, Jim O’rourke, Otomo Yoshihide, Motoharu Yoshizawa, Tadashi Endo, Eiko Ishibashi, Audrey Chen, Pina Bausch, Raul Ruiz and many others. He‰ currently directing the recording label objet-a. He has played worldwide in major festivals for experimental and contemporary jazz as well as giving lectures and masterclasses at preeminent music institutions worldwide. He‰ has composed many soundtracks for movies and documentaries and also directs his own video works.
Giovanni Verga is a multi-instrumentalist born in Palermo, Italy. After graduating from the University of Palermo, he started his musical career as a DJ playing around Europe before switching to mostly live music and improvisation. He moved to Berlin in 2013 where he has been collaborating with many improvisors from the german scene and composing many soundtracks for documentaries, theatre pieces and video exhibitions. He has played in many festivals around Europe. Verga is also a music producer and runs his own experimental label called Fieldoscope recordings.

1987年結成の高校生HIP HOPトリオ、KRUSH GROUPを経て、ラッパーのA.K.I.（エーケーアイ）が1989年に結成したA.K.I.PRODUCTIONS。メンバー変更の紆余曲折を経て、現在はA.K.I.１人によるユニットとなる。2005年頃には、山口小夜子氏とのデュオも話題に。その後、レーベル“AWDR/LR2”より、自身が主宰する“倫理B-BOY RECORDS”で制作した『DO MY BEST』（2009年）、『小説「我輩はガキである・パレーシアとネオテニー」』（2012年）という、２枚のアルバムを発表。それぞれに、44Pに及ぶブックレットが付属されている。特に、後者に付された「ガキ・アカデミーへの報告日記」は、現在のA.K.I.の哲学のエッセンスが示されている。2014年より、神田TETOKAにて、不定期ライヴ『トランスクリティカルHIP HOP ショー』を開始。2015年には、東京都現代美術館で行われた「山口小夜子 未来を着る人」展での宇川直弘氏の作品に参加。DOMMUNEのスタジオでライヴを行った映像が会場で上映された。また、この年、４枚目のアルバム『SISTER」も完成させた（しかし、リリース予定は今のところなし）。2016年には、2010年に刊行予定だった、幻の著書『ガキさん大好き⊇ Keep it Real!』が、“天然文庫”より、いよいよリリース予定。

マコ クベック
3才よりクラシックバレエを習う。日本大学芸術学部演劇学科卒業。1990年珍しいキノコ舞踊団創立メンバーとして2009年まで国内外の全ての公演に出演。現在はソロのダンサーとしてロロロ、UA、Buffalo Daughterなどの PV・ライブ出演や、KYOTARO、HAMADARAKA、金谷裕子、斎藤徹など 他ジャンルのアーティストと共演。コラボレーション作品を演出、出演している。
