WHITELIGHTが主催するリスニングパーティー「FRICTION OF SOUL」。第1回目は、シンガーのMARYLYAと彼女の夫である詩人吉増剛造の呼びかけにより結成されたGOZO ORGANIC FUKUBUKURO ORCHESTRA（MARYLYA/Vo、YUUSUKE HATAKEYAMA/Gt、etc）のライブパフォーマンスが披露される。
会場にはWHITELIGHTによるサウンドスケープ、鈴木余位・山本圭太による映像照明演出が構成される。

Marylya（マリリア）
ブラジル出身のシンガー、ソングライター、パフォーマーで、吉増剛造夫人。シャーマニックな歌声、ジャンルや特定の文化にとらわれないその音楽は、構築性と即興性、緊張とやすらぎ、抒情性と力強さといった、相反する要素の間を自在に往来する。さまざまなミュージシャン、ビジュアルアーティスト、ダンサーらとともに世界各地で活動している。

「FRICTION OF SOUL」presents a listening party showcasing a multi-channelled sound experience designed and hosted by WHITELIGHT. To celebrate this launch, there will be a special performance by the guest singer MARYLYA and GOZO ORGANIC FUKUBUKURO ORCHESTRA. Visual/lighting will be installed by Yoi Suzuki and Keita Yamamoto.

MARYLYA
Singer, songwriter Marylya is an artist beyond genre and comparison. Her music does not belong to a specific culture and she moves freely between improvisation and structured songs, tension and appeasement, lyricism and force. Her voice is haunting and compelling. She has performed extensively around the world with musicians, visual artists and dancers.
