ニューヨークのアートシーンで話題彷佛のカウガール、ドロシーカウフィールドがやってくる。デビュー以来、I’m a Cowgirl、Cows in the Skyと２枚のアルバムを発普。コンセプトの面白さに独特の演技力をブレンドさせて、あるカウガールの姿を歌い上げるユニークなヴォーカリストだ。来日メンバーは彼女のハイスクール時代からの相棒ギタリスト、中村秀一郎と山下洋輔NYトリオのドラマーとして本邦お馴染みのフェローンアクラフ。お見逃しなく!

レーベル、Street Meetingより発普。バンド、The Barnyard
Petting Zooを率いてニューヨークを中心に静かなブームを引き起こしている。カウガールとしての目標はロデオなどの野外コンサートやミュージック・フェスティバルをツアーすること、自分のRanch (牧場)をゲットすること。

本名、やなぎゆきこ
1962年名古屋生まれ、10代よりシンガーSongライターを志す。高校生バンドコンテスト、ポプコンなどに参加。ベスト・オリジナル曲賞等受賞。ダンスバンドのシンガーとしてディスコなどで活動。
1984年上京、環境アートを主な活動とするアーティスト集団ストリート・ミーティング主宰
1986年渡米、以来、ニューヨーク在住。ジャズ、ゴスペル、アフリカン・ドラム他様々なワールドミュージックのエッセンスを修行、吸収する。
1999年作詞家、カレン・ディートリックとのコラボレーションをきっかけに音楽プロダクション、Street Meeting Producers Inc.を設立、映画音楽、CD-Rom 等を手がけ、フルタイムでの音楽活動を決意。

2000 - Released First Album "I'm a Cowgirl" explores the dreams of Wild West. The music often described as "Cowgirls Jazz" which means a Cowgirl music by the interpretation of the New York Jazz musicians.
She has been attracting interests from media as The First ever Japanese Cowgirl. Her acts gears toward the out door Rodeo Concerts with her wild and sweet band, The Barnyard Petting Zoo.
