Polly Stanton
Polly Stanton is an audio-visual artist, educator and researcher. Her work considers various forms of mapping and placemaking by using sound and the moving image to document and reflect human experiences of site and environment. With a particular focus on sound and post-industrial locations, her work investigates how listening shapes our relationship to looking, infrastructure, unseen geographies and the layered temporalities of the natural world.

Atticus Bastow
Atticus Bastow is a Melbourne based sound artist. Expressed through multi-channel sound installations, interactive performances, and studio-based recordings, Atticus Bastow’s work interrogates the perception and rearticulation of spaces and their exciters. Outside of a solo performance practice Atticus is a full time member of The Overtone Ensemble, alongside Tim Catlin, Dave Brown and Phil Brophy. Other recent collaborations include visual artist Ash Keating, contemporary dancer Lilian Steiner, sound artist Byron Scullin, as well as interactive design wizards Eness.

Byron Huang-Dean
Byron Huang-Dean is a Melbourne based sound artist. He creates compositions, installations and site-specific works that explore sonic environments and urban experiences through field recording. Situated at an intersection between the practices of acoustic ecology, acousmatic music and psychogeography, his work aims to re-imagine place and generate new perspectives of environments. Drawing relationships between the sounds he collects, his works foreground an approach to field recording and composition that emphasizes textural ambiguity and seminarrative forms.

Martin Kay
is a sound artist and designer who primarily utilises unmixed and unedited environmental sound recordings to create audio montages and compositions that explore the intersection of architecture, psychoacoustics, social dynamics and place. Through employing a technologically limited (recording focused) work methodology, Kay is driven to find inventive recording techniques that re-contextualise his surroundings as well as inspire fresh and idiosyncratic compositional approaches pertinent to the places, situations and events he engages with.
