秋田昌美によるヴィーガン・ストレイトエッジ・ノイズ・プロジェクト。80年代初頭のノイズ・インダストリアル・シーンに参加し海外のレーベルを中心にリリースを始める。90年代にはグラインドコアの影響を受けデスメタルのレーベルRelapseからアルバムをリリース。2000年代にはmegoのパンキッシュなコンピュータ・ミュージックに合流、ラップトップによるライブ手法を採用した。2003年頃から「動物の権利」(アニマルライツ)の観点からヴィーガン(完全菜食主義)を実践している。「捕鯨反対」「イルカ漁反対」「毛皮反対」等をテーマに作品を制作している。近年はアナログ機材を主体にした音作りを行っている。また、Balazs Pandi、灰野敬二、Mats Gustafsson、サーストン・ムーア、リシャール・ピナス、Boris、 マイク・パットン、ザ・ニュー・ブロケイダーズ、アレック・エンパイア、M.B.、フル・オブ・ヘル、Xiu Xiu、アレッサンドロ・コルティーニ、duenn、ナカコー等様々なアーティストとコラボレーションを行っている。

Mats Gustafsson
1964年生まれ、スウェーデンのサックス奏者。1980年代後半から注目されるようになり、欧米をはじめ世界各地での幾多の演奏を経て、今や北欧フリージャズ / 即興音楽シーンの代表格。ソロ演奏、様々なミュージシャンとの共演、The Thing、Sonore、FIRE! ほか多くのバンド参加と旺盛な活動を続ける。フェスティヴァルやコンサート・ツアーのプロデュースや、Slottet、OlofBright Editions、Blue Tower Records といったレーベルの運営もおこなっている。

Balázs Pándi
1983年8月6日生まれ。ハンガリー出身のドラマー。今までヴェネチアン・スネアズ、オット・フォン・シーラーク、ラストステップ、To Live and Shave in L.A.、キリマンジャロ・ダークジャズ・アンサンブル、Zu等、世界中の多くのバンドと共演、ツアーを行う。又彼はブラッド・オブ・ヒーローズのドラマーでもある。2009年以降メルツバウのライブにもドラマーとして参加し、3枚のライブ録音のレコードも制作している。彼らは2012年フロリダ州タンパで行われたScion AV ロックフェスティバルのエクスペリメンタルステージにてヘッドライナーをつとめた。2010年にボン・ラと共にメタルブレイクコアのプロジェクト、ワームスカルを始める。（2011年にはファーストアルバム”サウンド・オブ・ヘル”をリリース）最近ではイタリアの実験インストバンド、Zuと共演。イタリアのドゥームバンド、オバケやメタリック・テイスト・オブ・ブラッド（ポーキュパイン・トゥリーのコリン・エドウィン、オバケのエラルド・ベルノッチ、ジェイミー・サフトがメンバー）にも参加している。2012年からソロ名義でもいくつかのフェスティバルに出演。レアノイズレコードからメルツバウ、マッツ・グスタフソンとのトリオアルバム“Cuts”を2013年2月にリリースしている。

ミュージシャン。92年にBorisを結成、文字通りワールドワイドで膨大な数の作品を発表しながら、世界規模のツアーをはじめとするライヴ活動を毎年実施。17年は結成25周年記念と発表した新作スタジオ・アルバムとワールドツアーも大反響。Borisでの活動以外にレコーディング・エンジニア/プロデューサー、デザイナー、映像ディレクターとして様々なアーティストと作品を発信している。

2000年よりrokapenisとしてVJを始める。大阪・東京のアンダーグランドシーンの重要イベントでVJを務める。world’s end girlfriend /mouse on the keys/DEDEMOUSE/BLACK SMOKER RECORDSの専属VJ。テクノ／ロックから前衛音楽まで幅広くコラボレーションやセッションを行う。VJと平行して大量のミュージックビデオも作成し続ける。またダンスカンパニーANTIBODIES Collectiveの映像作家として数々の海外公演に参加。2010年より自らのイベントV.I.I.Mprojectも定期的に開催している。

Born 1964 in Umeå, Northern Sweden. Living in Nickelsdorf, Austria. Saxophone player, improviser and composer. Solo artist and international tours and projects with a.o. Sonic Youth, Merzbow, Jim O´Rourke, Barry Guy, Otomo Yoshihide, Yoshimi, Peter Brötzmann, Ken Vandermark and in working groups The Thing, FIRE!, THE END, LUFT and Gush. Projects with Boots Brown, Swedish Azz and Fake (the facts), BNNT. Large ensemble work with FIRE! Orchestra, Klangforum Wien and the NU – ensemble. Over 1800 concerts and over 200 record productions in Europe, Australia, Africa, North & South America and Asia. Collaborations with contemporary dance, theatre, art, poetry as well as projects with noise, electronica, contemporary rock and free jazz. Discaholic – running the discaholic corner website as well as discaholic.com. Producer of international festivals and concert tours as well as work with his own record labels Slottet, OlofBright Editions and Blue Tower Records.

Balázs Pándi
Balázs Pándi (born 6 August 1983) is a Hungarian drummer. He worked and toured with various acts from all around the world including Venetian Snares, Otto Von Schirach (under the alias 666 Cent), Last Step, To Live and Shave in L.A., The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Zu. He also played drums for Blood Of Heroes project. Since 2009 he is the live drummer of Merzbow, they also made three live records together. They were headlining the experimental stage at Scion AV Rock Festival in Tampa, FL in 2012. Balázs started electronica-metal-breakcore project with Bong-Ra called Wormskull in 2010 (their first album “Sound of Hell” was released in 2011). Most recently he joined the Italian experimental instrumental band Zu. His current projects include Italian doom band Obake, Metallic Taste of Blood (featuring Colin Edwin of Porcupine Tree, Eraldo Bernocchi of Obake and Jamie Saft. From 2012 he started to play solo shows on selected festivals under his own name. Rare Noise Records released Cuts a trio record with Merzbow and Mats Gustafsson in February 2013.

Musician, co-founder of Boris. Since 1992 Boris have released countless records and played many shows throughout the world every year. In 2017 Boris celebrated their 25th anniversary with a new studio album and an ecstatically received world tour. Along with his roll and duty in Boris, Atsuo has a long career collaborating with numerous Japanese and Western artists as a recording engineer/producer, designer, and film director.
