Shinobu Hashimoto「pray」

English information
Shinobu Hashimoto “pray”
A group show by Shinobu Hashimoto, Soudai Arisaka, Ema Nakano, and Kuriwo
Saturday, November 21 – Sunday, November 29, 2026
SupernaturalDeluxe is pleased to present an exhibition by Shinobu Hashimoto, Soudai Arisaka, Ema Nakano, and Kuriwo, opening Saturday, November 21.
Last November, Shinobu Hashimoto and VJ Wasabi presented the large-scale installation Ruten (Transience) inside Hiiregura Hall, the former sake brewery on the SupernaturalDeluxe grounds. A refined yet free sensibility moved quietly through the continuously swaying kinetic sculptures. Hashimoto's new installation “pray” promises to once again gently evoke new experiences for those willing to spend a few moments in this special world.
The large-scale installation “pray” will be on view in Hiiregura Hall. In the main house you can see Hashimoto’s work alongside pieces by Soudai Arisaka, Ema Nakano, and Kuriwo. You can also find works quietly appearing in unexpected places around the property.
From the former sake brewery to the main house and outside into the open air, this exhibition encourages you to slowly explore the grounds and spend time with the work of each artist.
Daylight, night, changing weather, and the shifting angle of the sun reveal different aspects of each work. The artists will also add new elements of the exhibition over the course of its run. There is something new to find right up to the final day. Over these nine days, we hope you will visit more than once, at different times of day.

Slowly moving mobiles.
The time that flows through them,
and what rises in the heart.
